Just wondering if anyone has and what's on it.

Is it worth my time hunting down a kiosk?

    Wyldfyur Thanks this.

ive just tried twice, and each time i go to submit, i get an error message. basicly its questions like 'are you happy here?' would you recommend swift to anybody else? you happy with the shop? you happy with onroad support? each time i say the same thing....that if i'm such a good driver, zero accidents, zero svc fails and 100% on time....and ZERO tickets for the last rolling 12 months...then why have i only received a driver bonus once or twice? why dont drivers get them who run Great Lakes Regional? Also said how memphis planners suck, and if they only do a half-az job, why bother even showing up.

Sounds like they put a "negative remark fail safe" switch in it...bad JUJU's are not allowed to take the poll.

They know the answers they want...why bother with the rest?

    some things never change!

It triggered my preplan text msg to phone alert. I pulled over. I was pissed. Dirty dirty pool.

Couple of trucks in the fleet I'm on has new QCs and the drivers hate them. I already told my DM not to put one in my truck.

But this QC will relieve you of your irritations with getting a beep so you stop only to find out it's a fleet message. These new QCs talk to you. A female voice comes through your stereo speakers and will read, line for line, everything on the message; ie: dispatches, messages, etc. Even while you're motion. You can't turn it off or down. They say it's very irritating. And even more irritating is that it is touch screen and if you press one "button," it thinks you're pressing a different one and it gets very hectic. And to add to the frustration, you can't just input the MACRO you want. You have to actually scroll through them.

Personally, I like having the one-line screen mounted on my dash that will display the first few words of whatever comes to your QC. First few words might be "***FLEET MESSAGE***" or "PRE-PLAN" or something of that nature to let you know what it is you're receiving so you can decide if you want to stop or not. I love these.

But to answer your question, I haven't bothered to take the survey.

Wyldfyur, Everett and Texas-Nana Thank this.

Aw, h***! They're getting those??? I'd do everything possible to stay away from those new QCs. They come preprogrammed with electronic logs. The convenience of having that message read to you isn't worth the hassle of elogs.

I, too, tried numerous times on different kiosks in different terminals to do that survey and kept getting it kicked back on some error or other.
