I never used to pass their wiggle wagons unless they were in the ditch. Then they got governed down to 65 mph but lately a lot of them are going around 63 mph . Has anyone else noticed this?

I think that s more or less the driver s preference. There are still some that runs 70mph plus

FeEx Ground supposedly made their trucks, all contractor owned, slow down to 65 mph max a while back. I know, I still see some hauling butt but most of them are slower now.
-
I think they were told if you have any tickets or problems over 65mph they will pull your contract.
So they didnt make them govern the trucks but the zero tolerance policy got people in line.
I read it on the internet so it's the truth -
I was tailing one this morning i65 north in Indiana and he was doing 60-65. Very odd for FedeX.
I tried to pass him all of a sudden he speeds up to near 70. No problem, dropped back down right lane and safe following distance.
A few miles up one truck pulled over on right shoulder then another one southbound pulled over. Another state boy waiting in the median.
Coincidence or was he told to slow it down through Indiana?PacoTaco Thanks this. -
They at 65.3.... And they will try and pass if your at 65... No matter what they are going to try and pass even if it takes them 30 milew.
Highway Sailor, PacoTaco, stwik and 3 others Thank this. -
I can bump my speed up to 67 for up to 30 minutes per day. It might be fun to payback some of those drivers that like to drive slower than me until I try to pass, then speed up until I get back behind them, only to slow down again until I try it the next time.
Probably bot, though.
I usually just back down to 62 so they get by me faster.PacoTaco Thanks this. -
I ordered my *(&^ online a hour ago I DEMAND they have that (&^% at the door at sunrise.
HA. One exception would be computer parts, I fly them to little rock or memphis and it's at the door next day.
