Trucking helped me realize it’s matters less about where you are but more about where you are going and planning to get there. From a life standpoint and a logistical standpoint. If you are otr or regional the things going on in your hometown cease to be important when you are in a different city every night.

During the rally. The senior citizens center in Custer SD transforms into Harley Davidson of Custer. :) I went in there. Asked him why they didn’t have one motorcycle for sale? He said: Oh no! We couldn’t do that! We might sell one!
BTW... during a 2 week period of the 75th anniversary of Sturgis. The Harley dealer in Rapid sold 650 motorcycles.

The t shirt police in SD are after me. I’ve never worn a t shirt that said: Rally, Sturgis, or Harley Davidson on it.

    Here are a few of my favorite collector t shirts. 495408BC-4282-4A99-AF03-71F10E6AD922.jpeg 12F8DE55-E799-4485-A9AE-CD05F8E1EF73.jpeg 345AB4C0-D775-4F61-A384-00BA49265B26.jpeg D63CA7B5-1522-408C-B3A4-9B0CE45AA128.jpeg

I never wanted to be a truck driver. I was wrapped up in exercise. Trying to stay alive. Marathons and all.
Now I’m adjusting to a sedentary lifestyle. Finding I like it much more than other jobs. All they do at work is fight. They’ll have to proceed down their roads to hell without me. Best part of driving is the social distancing.

Don’t waste time. Cascadia is a fault line off the OR WA coast. It intersects San Andreas. Cascadia goes every 300 years like clockwork. It causes San Andreas to go. They create a Larger than Major Earthquake. Cascadia is overdue.
They have found ancient roads and walls off the coast of Ca. On the ocean floor. Obviously built by man.

As I understand. From the Palos Verdes Peninsula, to Catalina Island. There is a ridge of underwater mountains. It is on those mountains where they found the roads and walls. ...

Im find myself easily aware of the stupidity of car drivers, shippers and yes my fellow, supposedly professional drivers........i began driving 9 years ago, trucking itself definitely changed more than it changed me......I'd give anything to have years 2012 to 2017 driving back, the traffic and general atmosphere of trucking seemed different, even just 4 years ago....crazy times

I have grown more patient, try not to let the small things get under my skin. Stuck in traffic, oh well it's gonna be what's it's gonna be. Throw on some loud tunes and jam out Lol. The idiot drivers that cut me off or do something dangerous I'll entertain myself by yelling at em on the CB knowing they don't have one. If anyone else is listening I usually get a few laughs.

I won't book a load to known time wasting warehouse no matter how good it pays, just not worth it to me. I'll gladly run north jersey and the NYC metro daily but i don't do time wasters

I never cared much for people before and now I really can't stand them including other truckers. People aren't educated and are incapable of having a decent conversation. There are increasingly rude drivers using their phones to watch YouTube in the middle of a restaurant because they're selfish not to mention the behavior of 4 wheelers and cops. I used to enjoy being a wanderer and now find I'm a hermit when I get home. I'm a natural introvert and find that it takes less time for my social batteries to run down. I like hanging out with my dog more than ever and her company is 99.9% better than those around me. Trucking has shown me that it is wise to keep guarded.
