Willamina just once in a while, love it when I get out there and sent to Toledo for a sunny day drive down 101 along the ocean beaches. -
A drive up Hood Canal to Port Townsend can be like that too, at least outside tourist season. For scenery, that and running up to Morton or Randle are my top two.

Can't compare much to Pritchett. Marvin is a low paying crook with unreasonable expectations I know a few guys that pull chips as an o/o and they do pretty decent and yes they pay by the ton and it varies from mill to mill

I made a good living working for Pritchett, drove nice equipment, and was treated very well. I pulled my loads 5 days a week like I was asked to, and life was good. No unreasonable expectations or crook like tendencies to speak of, and I worked there for over 3 years pulling trash, long dump, short dump, and live bottom.

I started hauling sawdust and chips for Bettendorf back in April. It's not a bad business but the pay just isn't there

- How much are log truck drivers getting paid nowadays?
- How many loads do you usually deliver in a day?
- Is it pretty difficult getting in and out of the woods with your truck?
- Which type of trucks usually hold up the best in wet conditions, lot of mud, etc...?
- If you have your own truck, how much to the Log Company pay for each load?
Any information would be appreciated.
