In 2017 a law was passed that makes it not legal for applications to ask if the applicant has a felony. The first thing to do is find and read that particular law. Searching around the web you will find many companies that hire felons..they are out there. Just because someone has made a mistake in life is no reason to throw them in the trash pile. I know felons who have turned their lives around and done great things!

Got any proof of that? All I can find is an article in 2017 claiming it's not a "best practice" anymore by whoever claims such things. Here is the link I found. Nearly Half of Employers Continue to Ask About Criminal History on Job Applications

I'd just like to clear this up. There is a list of disqualifying crimes for the background check but as long as the charge wasn't one of them, a felon can get HAZMAT. Here's the list:

    49 CFR 1572.103 - Disqualifying criminal offenses.

I heard that all tow truck drivers are felons

I saw on the news. Few years ago that 1 truck co. Was seeking felons. They wanted to rehabilitate them.

Never heard of that again though, so i’m guessing they regretted doing that.

A lot of these panty-waste liberals try stupid things thinking what they see through thier rose colored glasses is reality, until their wife or daughter gets raped by one of these felons.

Remember Elizabeth Smart in salt lake city.

Her father tried saving money so he hired bums to come into his house and do work.

His neighbors warned him that the bums were burglarizing their houses. He didn’t care cuz his rose colored glasses showed everything was nice and rosey .... until the night one of those bums entered his house as his family slept, and his daughter was kidnapped and repeatedly raped for months.
