Have any felons gotten any trucking jobs?

    In 2017 a law was passed that makes it not legal for applications to ask if the applicant has a felony. The first thing to do is find and read that particular law. Searching around the web you will find many companies that hire felons..they are out there. Just because someone has made a mistake in life is no reason to throw them in the trash pile. I know felons who have turned their lives around and done great things!

    I'd just like to clear this up. There is a list of disqualifying crimes for the background check but as long as the charge wasn't one of them, a felon can get HAZMAT. Here's the list:

    49 CFR 1572.103 - Disqualifying criminal offenses.
