Hawaii Is Waging War On Aggressive Feral Chickens

I went to Maui in the beginning of April...we have been to Oahu and Hawaii, but I think I like Maui the best. Yup, there are no chickens at the too of Haleakala, but we did see some Nene, which are Hawaiian geese.

 

Yup,it seems like every 2-3 miles on the way to the summit there’s a nene crossing! lol

 

Got me wondern if kernal Sanders is still on active doody.

 

Now if the Colonel were to set up one of his processing factories in the neighbourhood we may see a decline in the chicken population although customers may find a lot less meat on the chickens.
