If you have to deliver a HAZMAT load that is near the center of a large city do you still have to use the outer loops?

For example, Columbus, OH (or Indianapolis, IN) you have to deliver fertilizer in the middle of the city.

I wouldn't unless there was a practical way to get there by doing so.

Yes you may go into the city inside the loop in either one ( Indianapolis, IN or Columbus, OH ) with hazmat ONLY if you are delivering inside the loop. The sign reads THRU HAZARDOUS CARGO CARRIERS WITH PLACARDS must use the bypass loop. I deliver hazmat into both of those cities. If you are not delivering or picking up from inside the loop and are caught inside with placards you will pay a hefty fine.:yes2557:
