Brooklyn. 48' spread axle. The reputation has me a little spooked, but I'm excited to go. Never been there and it'll be nice to notch it.

Any tips or stories you'd like to share about taking a nibble out of the ole Big Apple?

Check with others, but a lot of times 12'9" means 13'6"

Unless you're talking manhattan,it's no different than any other big city. Manhattan you'll have more kamikaze taxi's,buses and pedestrians. Yes people will step out in front of a moving truck.

Avoid parkways, many clearance signs are measured for snow weather, trip plan is a must if you're not from there are a lot of small roads and you don't want to get caught on a dead end in those small roads.

Oh and a lot of the drivers are dip ####s. Be really careful many of the taxis are fresh foreigners they drive like they did back in their country.

And go in early. Like at 4 am. I’d rather be fighting to get out while everyone else is fighting to get in, than have to sit through that mess inbound and outbound.
