I’m just south of Atlanta waiting for nightfall to drive.

Been a good 10 degrees hotter here than at my house in South Florida.

Newark is already bad enough. I can only imagine now.

that’s understandable. High temperatures like this can actually weaken the rails and possibly cause a derailment!

it hit 101 at our state beaches, and that's unusual as the beaches normally get the ocean breeze....however, yesterday, the breeze came off the land.

Providence hit 100, and the humidity was not as bad as was projected, i know cuz i have breathing issues with the humidity.

    but questions arise...

the electric companies have asked for all to keep the electrical use down, due to possible brownouts. and even possible blackouts......

    ok..??

so tell me please...many states, including mine have an electric car mandate as of 2035....

so at 2035, there will be no more gasoline powered cars to buy at dealerships., they must ALL be electric...

so, what brainstorms think going full on electric is a great idea, and we have more and more heat waves...???

what a bunch of dumb###es pushing for all electric.

I was delivering vinegar the other day in West Haven, CT. Good lord was it smokin’ hot. Of course the trailer pump kept leaking and it took 2 hours of getting that crap on my arms and breathing in the fumes before I finally tamed the leak enough to finish pumping off. Disconnecting everything after it had baked in the sun with the vinegar was a new level of “oh this sucks!” Had to take a couple breaks to cool off and not become a heat casualty
