I thought I would start a thread where HH drivers could bounce ideas off of each other, ask questions or stuff that may or may not be worthy of starting a thread for.
If you take two identically spec'd 3 axle RGN's, and the only difference between the two is one is a mechanical and the other a hydraulic trailer with a Honda pony motor, what would be the difference in weight between them?

Must be somebody looking at trls?
I don't know the weight difference though. But I will take a hdy. any day over mech. after running both.
That would be 50k or bigger trl. though. -

What's your empty weight with your mechanical on 7 axles?
-
Jason, Call the dealers, every trl. should have a mty. weight stamp on it.
I know Trail King did. Will kinda give you a rough idea on the weight difference.
I don't think it should be more than 1k though. I might be way off, so don't hold me to it.Oscar the KW Thanks this. -
Am I allowed to post in this part?
Not a flatbed on 5 axles, not a HH'er anymore......I'm in limbo!
artinpassingthru69 and 281ric Thank this. -
Less that 1k from (long time ago) memory
