VV-heads? Chances are they are busted, crack the valve covers and check.

I'm not familiar with CAT's, but if it has selector switch for low/med/high, see if it does it on each position. It'll help identify which cylinder(s) are the problem.

STAY OFF THE JAKE. Until you can take a peak into the rocker boxes. When is the last time you ran the Rack on your motor? If it has been awhile then you got one or two out of adjustment. If Trk is shuttering bad then do valve adjustment and re-bush jakes. Check number 3-4 cylinder first, they usually go before others. You’ll be fine as long as you don’t keep riding around singing the jake. Also check springs, a busted jake spring will cause vibration. Problem will reveal itself as soon as you look in the rocker boxes.

I dont usually use it it’s once in a blue when I really need it. I recently bought the truck so I’m not sure about that. I’ll take it to a shop Monday to check that out that’s for your help
