It’s Cascadia 2018 with 450 hp and 1550 torque for $124,500. Anyone have any suggestions if its a good purchase? Will it last with this amount of torque?

Cascadias don’t seem to hold value well. You plan on keeping it a while? You can pick up a Coronado glider for around that. May hold value better.

Why not go with the 505 instead of the 450?

Second thought if your dropping that much coin why not go with a glider if your not gonna run commiefornia. 12.7 Detroit 500hp will out last and have better resale than a plastic cascadia.

Also how much experience do you have

The real question should be, what will this truck be used for? What will you be hauling and for whom? How heavy,.. and what type of terrain?

The truck is nothing but a tool in order to do a job. Buy the wrong tool for the wrong job and it makes doing the wrong work that much more difficult.

Spec the truck for the type of work it will be doing.

Why did you pick this particular truck and these specs?

    Thanks for responding
Thats what i was considering “, the resale value. With that power I don’t think I could sell it for a reasonable $$
Unfortunately i’ll be running to cali, planning reefer.

I’ll mostly run coast to coast on reefer, produce and that’s consistently heavier than any other type of loads. Do you think that power is not suitable for that load?
    Thanks for responding btw

Resale value should be on the bottom of your list not the top. Actually 505 would hold better resale than the 455.

For a 15L engine 505 is not really that much. Nowadays its common for 12 and 13L to be rated at 500 and still hold together.
