HELP IS THIS TOO MUCH OIL

    Changed my oil this week is this too much oil that will cause a problem ?

    I would not worry about that much. But yes it is bad if it is way too full.

    Run it as you normally would. Check the level daily. Shouldn't be an issue. You don't need to hammer the engine to try to burn it off lol

    Curious.
    What happens if it is overfilled too much? Excess crankcase pressure? Which ultimately makes what happen?

    The crank will aeriate the oil. Frothy oil doesn't lubricate that well.

    Your crank will be spinning in oil, not designed to since they did away with the old splash systems, oil circulates thru the pickup then is sent to the various places in the engine. with the crank spinning in the oil it will turn to foam, which does not pump well. Then you get a shutdown warning the the oil police come out the wonk you over the head.
