on the laptop you can purchase a new one for 500.oo + tx. & warr.
landstar software is copywrited and you would have to get that from them.

    good luck with your decision.

Hello there getrdone5782 sorry I have no info. But I did notice your age and how long you have been a trucker and the fact that your truck is paid off and was wondering what's the secret. How in the heck did you accomplish all of this so young??? Good for you maybe I can learn something here. Well anyway HAPPY HOLIDAYS and wish you the best!!!

I had a friend who leased on with Landstar last year and didn't do too well. He was saying you pretty much need someone to watch the load boards for you 24/7 to get the good loads, since they get picked off way too fast. If you have a spouse that can watch those things for you when you're driving, then it would probably help out a lot.

Landstar has leased on a lot of new drivers in the past couple of years, so there's a lot of competition going on. I've heard guys that have been with them for years saying it's gotten lean in recent years because of this.

I'm sure it's possible to make that kind of money, but I wouldn't think it will be the norm. I'd try to lease on with FedEx in either their ground or Custom Critical divisions if that's the kind of money you want. I know guys with them that are making a killing.

Well first, by limiting where you will travel to is simply going to limit your income... With that said "can you consistently make 2500" your answer is no... (other expenses come out as well other then fuel keep in mind)..
