I was about to sign on with Steven's until I started reading these threads yesterday !! Then I looked at schneiders.... COME ON....Who is the best to go with. Give me the straight scoop will ya !!!!!!!!! Someone lead me down the right road, or I am just diving in and making the best of what they hand me !! It can't be as bad as a good dose of CANCER on a bad day !! Some of us are just glad to be alive......... Come on, give me the scoop !!

it's all what you make of it bud. If you work hard and really want to do it you will. If you have this pie in the sky dillusions of truck driving then you will be shocked. it's a job, a hard job. You will work 100 hours a week and if you break it down to all hours in the truck you will be greatly deressed. Live the life for what it is and you will get along fine.
Most the training companies are about the same. That said personally I
d stay away from the swift, cr england and crst of the trucking world. but that's just me. The best bet would be to go to school and pay fr it yourself so you are not contracted to the company. Once the company owns you for a year they WILL use it to there advantage. but I know not everybody can do that. I will say though that most of the company schools seem to be VERY fast paced and you have to keep up or you will get cut, and most likely billed a few grand for the pleasure of attending for a few days. Read the fine print on any training program and NEVER trust them to deal in good faith. I know it seems cynical but my cynical outlooks has been well earned
