95 hours a week is more realistic in the Bakken unless you are permanently assigned to a truck with a sleeper in which case you are often able to work whenever you feel like.

Not only should they provide the training for the certs/endorsements,
They do provide the training for certs/ endorsements,
They advertise in their job posting that they will pay for certs/endorsements.
They know they can get your certs/ endorsements done 10 times faster than you
can doing it on your own.

This isn't garbage OTR companies that want to pay you a penny a mile
more because you have a haz-mat endorsement, and their not pulling
a load of toilet paper for a buck a mile.

I'll tell you like my Superviser told me just a couple of days ago,
when I volunteered to pay for something, then turn in the receipt
to be reimbursed. He got almost pissed off, and told me that
your in the oilfields now, never, ever pay for anything, let the company
pay for everything. Sounds like good advice to me, lol.

    ALEXAMJAD Thanks this.

I just got back in the Eagle Ford game. I was out here in 2011 and 2012. Went home and hung up my oilfield boots with the satisfaction of having made a total of $230,000 in those 2 years. I did it hauling oil based cuttings with an end dump. I have my 3 daughters set up for college and paid off all my bills. I'm back out here now with the goal of putting up enough in 2 or 3 years to be able to go home and buy my own dump truck. We have tons of industrial expansion work going on in the next 10 years at home and dump trucks will be a top commodity. Most end dump companies will hire you with driving experience and a clean MVR then train you on the end dump. Those 100k jobs are out there and they're not isolated to only 2 types of driving jobs. Explore every avenue.
