You need an attorney. Might I suggest calling.....
-
Report to the irs... Did you receive direct deposit or a weekly check? If direct deposit, then have your bank statements printed out and ready to fax.
crb Thanks this. -
The IRS fraud unit would love to hear from you!
-
They did direct depoist. I just got through looking at my bank statements just to make sure and guess what nothing from them.
-
Time to lawyer up my friend, and call the IRS fraud unit.

Before we start the lawyer process, have you talked to accounts payable at the place you leased to? It could be simply a mistake. Now if you talk to them, the refuse to file a correction, then yes, get a lawyer unless the amount too small to fight.
-
How much are we talking about here? And have you contacted that companies accountant yet? Could be a simple mistake. Contracting lawyers and the IRS would be a last resort measure.

There claiming they paid me 6200 plus they didn't pay me my 2500 escrow. When I did talk to them the other day they tried telling me I owed them around 2000
