Helping out my brother

I’ve never had my own plate, but I’ve also never been tied up with crappy carriers. Up until a few months ago I was under my friend’s authority. When I switched from his authority to the carrier I’m leased to now I dropped the plate off at his house and his wife deposited the refund to my account after she got it from the state.

Where people get screwed are the places who charge weekly for the plate because it usually adds up to well over the $2k or so that it actually costs for the year.
