Hey ya'll, Look what EZPASS can do!!

    Exactly when I first read this, lol. For people to understand they need to know how the unit works. The unit in your car/truck is a battery powered receiver/transmitter. If it transmitted all the time the battery wouldn't last no time.

    On the other hand the toll booths and even weigh stations that are on normal power send a trigger signal which the unit in your car/truck then wakes up sort of speaking and responds with your transponder ID.

    What you are seeing in that video is the unit picking up false signals from security systems like banks and it's responding, nothing else. A radar detector does the same thing picking up false signals.

    If he took his test out on the open road it wouldn't of went off like in a city environment.

    Put it on the internet and they will believe. :UFO:

    This might, or might not be related... I noticed at T/A the other day, they have an EZ pass looking bar above each fuel lane tucked under the overhead. Anyone know what that is used for?
