So are we going to be late with that damage freight? Preventables to be sure.
All this technology in place and we still do stupid stuff like going into a storm on a bridge. -
Love the 4 way flashers on, as if the trucks on their sides isn't enough. Note to newbies, use caution crossing open bridges empty in a gale force wind,,

The possibility exists they were stopped with their flashers on, then got blown over. If that is the case I don't know what the drivers could have done to prevent what happened.

Theres always that "Oh My God" coming out of a broad or a snowflake in a car witnessing a truck on its side

How do you prevent an incident like this from happening again ?
Do you not drive at all when there are storms with "possible" high wind gusts or what ?
I really don't know.Last edited: Oct 27, 2019

This is going to make me look at weather forecasts more detailed than just precipitation
SilverBulletBand Thanks this. -
That's a tricky spot, with high hillsides on bother sides of the road on either side of the bridge it's hard to tell how the wind is blowing until your actually in it.
Cabinover101, SilverBulletBand and F4T6UY Thank this.
