I hope some of you are around here. I am closing in on 2 years exp., clean record, twic card, all the endorsements.

I am making about 3800 gross a month working for SNI on a dedicated team route, and HATE it (sleeping while some one else is driving). I am looking at trying to get local & can't find much on how some of our local companies pay. I am looking at Williams Tank Lines, Rocha trucking & RUAN's local tankers. Being here in modesto there doesn't seem to be a whole lot, but not being home much it is hard to check out.

    thoughts on other local compainies...
advice...suggestions? I am all ears, thanks in advance.

Best trucking jobs are not in the paper or computer. Get out and knock on a few companys doors next time your home. Will be your best chance for a good driveing job. Alot of trucking outfits in our area.

Dot foods is based in Mo town. Drivers are home weekends and they might have local. Pay over 60k.

as much as it sucks, someone like sysco is usally the best paying jobs, but there usually over 200% touch freight, not for everyone, but you can do 60-80k if not more.

I work for US Foods, and every day i go in is a 300 dollar day, and then I drive home. Good insurance, good retirement, we are union. Pretty good job, doesn't get much better than this for pay and benefits anymore.
