The amount of people upset about things happening is mind blowing. Will you just as readily come back here to say you were wrong if major changes begin to appear/improve the industry... just as readily as you are willing to #### on any attempt to improve the industry? I have my doubts.

Ive admited when im wrong before. Ill eat my share of crow if i need to. But historically there is a bunch of fuss maybe a ceremonial scapegoat or two paraded around and then when the uproar dies down its back to business as normal.

You will forgive me if this being the norm my view on the government left or right doing anything actully positive on purpose is deep skeptisicm especially in the modern lawfare era.

So I posted this in another thread and I am feeling lazy so:

"It is good news that something is being done. But what is being done is just a smoke screen covering up what needs to be done. Someone in power needs to cancel the non-domiciled rule, remove all the non-english speaking truck drivers, and remove authority of all the shyster players in the trucking world.

The rules are there to do just that, just not the political power to do so.

Instead of using the SMS database to remove all the chameleon carries like it was designed to in 2010. We are strapped with a 'new' Motus system that sucks and does not do what the SMS system was put in to do.

Instead of going after companies that hire unqualified drivers and revoking their authority, We are going after schools that are not even schools.

Instead of pulling drivers that cannot speak English off the road, we give them a ticket and tell them they are bad boys."

    Lonesome and Arctic_fox Thank this.

Fair enough, so both of you and others are in constant contact with your representatives or the state and Federal DOT (et al.) and have asked them to push legislation like Delilah's Law? Have you any inkling what might be in the mentioned law? Has any of you, who are ####ting on this post and others like it, RECENTLY and PURPOSEFULLY engaged your local politicians, have actively partipated in/with the government and not just piss and moan every time a member points out that at something, somewhere is being attempted. Because if all you have done is the latter then your being disingenuous to the political process, you don't REALLY want the change you speak of and I have no respect for your opinions on the matter, if so.

It's easy to sit back and complain. It's harder to get up and do it.

    The "do" matters.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
