1099 or W2?
Seems like every Chicago carrier wants to pay employees on 1099.
Amerifreight, MGL, GI Super Service, Dolce... the ex-Soviets, Ukrainians, Bulgarians are really active with the 1099 busines model.

 

The majority of them wouldnt be in business if they ran a legit operation...

 

I was hoping there would be more info here. I got an offer from them for flatbed also. They are saying $80 - $90K annually for a company driver. Their website is about useless.

 

I talked to them about 6 months ago, they seemed real serious, 70 cpm/ your driving record has to be spotless and no criminal record at all in the last 7 years..

There is no extra stop pay, tarp pay, detention pay, layover pay. They are big fan of selling it as being included in the rate. Convoluted system geared so it's hard to determine what your actually getting paid.


With no tarping, detention, or additional stop pay, you will get plenty of loads where those will be surely missed.

Dispatch is out of Europe somewhere and there is plenty of miscommunication between them you and brokers.
W2 company.

 

Those goals are easy to meet but its not 70 cpm.
Marten pays 62 cpm drop and hook if you add the inventives ‍♂️
