I saw this while searching for "truck" in the news lol.

It's an electric-powered truck by Tesla. Looks like DHL is all into it. It says it costs $1.26 per mile, whereas diesel trucks cost $1.51. That's a nice savings.

I'm glad the environment will be better soon.

    I guess you're right.

Not sure if they take into account the electricity you use to charge up the truck? (If that's how they're charged up lol.)

But then again i guess you could always charge up at low key places without people realizing :p like schools, libraries, etc. Just hide that power cord!

With all the production struggles Tesla is having with the Model 3, I wonder how many truck preorders will get cancelled due to a promised delivery date of "eventually."

How about the fact that if you start trying to drastically increase our use of electricity the price will go up too is that factored in

It’s just like municipalities all patting each other on the back for all the good they have been doing cleaning up the environment with their blue box recycling programs. Only to find out, they have been shipping it all off to China and dumping it in their back yard.
But now China won’t take our waste recycling product, so now some municipalities are just burying it.
But at least it’s not in our back yard.
That’s what the electric vehicles do.
    It’s like what Einstein said,
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”
    There is no free lunch
