Think of it as a public service announcement. They’re showing the consequences of possessing alcohol in the cab of a semi.
You may not agree with it but the driver of that semi should be embarrassed for what he did.

Remember those seat belt crash test dummy commercials from the 80s??
You could learn a lot from a dummy!

I'm with you.....I can't imagine that being ethical. I don't find that professional at all either side. That said, the driver should have thrown that out before leaving the truck stop. Nobody had to know his business.

They would’ve found out regardless-especially for a truck layover accident. Breathalyzer and urinalysis would turn up something-SOP after a major truck accident.

The department didn't decide anything other than the fact that sufficient evidence exists to charge the driver with DWI and possession of open containers of alcohol. The trier of fact will decide whether or not he is guilty of those charges.

It is precisely because of messages like the one you are complaining about that people are aware of the dangers of drinking and driving.

Part of a policeman’s job is public awareness and education. Have you ever seen those black DARE police cars parked along the highway?
Yep, posting this on Twitter to let the public know is part and parcel of policing.

Too bad his last name wasn't Woods (as in Tiger)...rollover crash, "I don't know what happened", no blood/breath test. Then cause of the crash is determined, but not released.

Wrong. Their sole job is to enforce the law. That is it.
