The KW you saw is from another small company that joined with us there is like a handful of company drivers there and they share our yard. I believe they are dispatched from Holland but not sure on that, I know they service trucks in our shop.
bryan21384, IWX6279 and Cobrawastaken Thank this. -
My understanding is, is that company has 30 power units and that the owner of that company — I can’t recall the company’s name — decided to lease on and partner with Holland.bryan21384 Thanks this.

Yeah that sounds like what I heard too. I know we still don't use individual o/o as far as I know though

I've been here a little over a year. Last year they had me do 3 swaps in 1.5 weeks. Stayed stuck running back and forth east of Ohio the entire time. 2 months ago, "S" had me do 3 swaps in a weekend going back and forth across Wyoming, then I got stranded in Stockton over the 4th weekend, 7 days total, for a truck issue I kept telling "D" was a trailer issue, but he insisted it was the truck and so I camped out at Freightliner. Missed my hometime by over a week with that one. I've done a couple other swaps here and there, and not once has it ever been repayed back to me. Never.

sorry to hear that. That was a difficult situation to be in. Doing a lot of repowers can get old for sure. I wonder why you got stuck with so many

I can’t say why they did that to you, because I don’t know. I DO know I was a team player there for the most part, and if they needed it done and I could do it I did.
The dispatchers and I knew where we stood with each other, maybe that’s why L always took care of me??
Anyways I’m sorry that went like that for you.bryan21384 and IWX6279 Thank this. -

14 empty miles with an additional 1346 loaded.Speed_Drums, Vic Firth, bryan21384 and 3 others Thank this. -
Sorry to hear of your luck with all the swaps in that short of a time. I've been lucky I guess on the swaps I just get occasional ones maybe one every month or two and usually it's been because of me needing to be home at a specific day and time and they've always got me there.
I have done a few loads that were favors or rather a short load just to get me set up for the next longer trip which had worked out so far.
Current load was picked up yesterday near Richland, WA going to Ft. Worth, TX for Monday morning like 400 empty miles and almost 2000 loaded.IWX6279 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
What pissed me off the most about the 1st set of 3 swaps was that it cost me a lot of money. 1st swap they took me off of a PA-WA run, had me swap in OH, and go back to PA. The 2nd one was a PA-CO run that I had to swap out in OH and turn around and del in NJ. The 3rd one was a NJ-ND run that, once again, I had to swap in OH and run back to NJ. These were back to back swaps over a week and a half.
The 2nd set of swaps, "S" actually called me and said "I need to use and abuse you this weekend". Wtf. I was on a Modesto run, she had me swap somewhere in WY/UT I cant remember, then swapped that one in York NE, swapped again in Evanston WY, and swapped again in Cheyenne for Modesto. That last one is where I picked up the trailer that caused me to get stranded in Stockton.
