IF THE CLOSEST HOME TERMINAL TO YOU IS 200 MILES, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOU? does it mean you have to go there every time you get time off, or start your driving up again?

no most company will let you take your truck home if you have somewhere to park it.

I was over 300 mile from the nearest terminal. Just means you take the truck home for time off. The only issue is getting home for time off, the company may have trouble finding a load that gets you close to home.

It depends on what you are driving as well I think. For example....it might not be so bad on a national gig, but regional would be tricker as I think the loads might be more...time-sensitive? With crete, I have my paperwork in for them as soon as I finish Sage. They have a Terminal (or something) in Eastern WY and a Terminal in St. Lake City and I will be living in Western WY. From what it sounded like, I'd have to go home under a load.
Now my thing is...how would that work if I had a couple of days off at once or I took additional time off? Would I still keep my truck at home or would I have to return it to the terminal for someone else to use? I like to think of my truck...actually staying mine if I take some time off or something, lol. -
Seems like most companies will let you take the truck home for 4-5 days but after that they pretty much want to keep the truck moving so it makes money for them and you really can't blame them. I know Prime said after 4 days they will slip seat ya.
