    Hello out there,
My question today is, suppose you are driving and are due for time off (i.e. you have two days of hometime due to you, and you want to go somewhere other than home, Vegas or disneyworld, do companies accomodate that or do they just get you home?
    Just wondering....
    Thanks,
    Tom O

Depending on the company and what lanes it runs, it is possible to go somewhere as long as they run there. Like you said - Las Vegas, if your company runs through NV, then that is possible.

You ask your dispatcher ahead of time if you can do it.

The last otr company I worked for would let me take my hometime where ever I wanted to. I just had to tell my dispatcher ahead of time where I wanted to go.
