I do all my cooking/eating in my truck. Company put a 1200w inverter in and I bought an Aroma rice cooker, George Foreman grill and a real fridge/freezer. Stop at Walmart once a week and top off my supplies. I started doing that Christmas Eve 2014. In a year and 2 weeks I have lost 90lbs. I attribute that to not eating in the truckstop foods anymore. I also follow a LCHF diet and my t2 diabetes is being controlled so well, my dr cut my meds in half. Same with my high blood pressure.
Amazing how healthy you can get when you stop eating the garbage in the truckstops. I'm also happy with the $$$ I save every month. I used to spend $150+ on bad restaurant/fast food. I spend about $40 a week now. Nice having spending money again...lol -

If you're OTR and pretty much only stop at truck stops, you'll slowly fall into the trap. IF you can, fuel at the big ones and stop at the smaller ones for the better food, IMO. OTR can easily become a recurring set of habits, hopefully a loved one can remind you to stop and eat better every now and then. Or try to make one of your habits, if stuck OTR, to do resets only at places you can eat better. Just food for thought!
