I got out of trucking in Feb '12 after getting a call to go back in the oilfield. I had been driving 3 years at the time when I left. My last two trucks weren't the most nimble, a '04 KW W900 and a '97 FLD flat top. Since I was laid off this past Feb, I'm about to jump into a late model Volvo and I'm a little nervous that I'm very rusty.
My two trucker friends tell me that it's like riding a bike, you never forget. Any idea of common pitfalls a rusty driver may encounter? I tend to over analyze everything I do.. I was in a pretty comfortable groove when I left...
thanks...Will
Hoping I'm not going to be too rusty
