Thanks, I don't have a very big radius on my insurance. Most of my the loads are usually within 100-300 mile radius. I live where there is a terminal elevator, which means the grain is brought to it from other smaller elevators. I usually deadhead out and bring grain back to elevator. They usually pay enough to make it worthwhile recently it hasn't been too good.

I would imagine you would be busy during fall harvest with the corn. I would guess you haul the corn to on farm storage during harvest.

I think the vibrators help, they should anyway. It would have to be better than shoveling a load out. When some of that stuff sets up it's a bear to get out. I've heard of drivers hauling rock when it was cold and the rock was wet. The load would freeze in the hopper.

Anything is hard to get out if it raining while loading.I try to avoid that if at all possible. I do like the black trailers too.

I can haul 900 bushels wheat, 950 corn or milo,900 beans, Around 54,000. Puts my gross weight a little over 80,000. I'm fairly light at 26,600 fuel half full. I have a friend who weighs 2,000 lbs less than me.

To be really legal probably have to haul 10 bushels less.
