Been watching the news in Oklahoma City and they have cars underwater in certain places, road closures and some people still try to drive down a road that is underwater. I don't get it.

In Kansas the new slogan is" turn around don't drown". They aren't too bright in Wichita either, they drive into the water.

Recieved 5" of Rain in downtown Freeport,KS yesterday, not what we wanted for a timely wheat harvest in our area! On the bright side, guess it's good for my corn and bean acres!
-
Is it still raining up in Kansas tonight? We had some good thunderstorms roll threw here tonight, delayed harvest even more.
-
So far so good no rain yet. A few storms building up around us.
-
Hope it stays dry for you guys. Noyhing more depressing than rain at harvest time.
Good luck. -
Water, water everywhere. Northeastern Missouri is flooded just as bad. Or was before the latest rains came through. Less farm fields flooded up there, though, from what I could see.
-
Wondering how long this is going to keep up.......................
-
Don't know, we had rain again around 2 am. It is really soggy around here. Harvest is looking farther and farther away.
-
They say we got around 4 inches but it is going to take some hot wind blowing weather to dry the fields. Most of the out of town trucks have left and everyone else is sitting idle.
wheathauler Thanks this.
