Hopper or Tank - which is better

I am a Tanker Yanker and most tank outfits pay about
62-65% of gross

I have seen some hopper bottom / end dump outfits ( not Oakley ) paying 70-78%

My question is that since this freight is by the TON what can you expect rev for all miles

And is it comparable to tanking
