    umm...don't start it up..????

seriously, must be a safety item.

to inform you, if you are away from the vehicle, that it is about to start, unattended..???

look at the relay panel, fuse panel for anything relating to this, like "start up/autostart warning system..??

if so, try pulling that fuse/relay, and tell us what happens?

If you open the door after turning on Auto start, the horn will sound. Its supposed to be a safety feature. Not sure how that outweighs waking everyone up... Some pencil pusher's idea I'm guessing.

Just unplug the wire from the horn.. some dealers say it can be turned off and some say it can’t.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
