    I doubt his steers will be involved.

    There is a persistant old iron rule that may still be correct and it goes like this.

    Steer axle brakes do not have springs on them for parking purposes and feature a pretty low air application force compared to the other cylinders.

    Well here’s another old rule: Where there’s smoke,there’s fire!;)

    Could be there was enough of a barometric change inside the trailer. Paper burned up all the oxygen, fire below the trailer cooked it like an oven, then some point of the trailer had a failure resulting in a compression rupture.
