Housing and man-camps?

You can get used to the snoring rather quickly......
I had a girlfriend that snored, i learned to dwal with it. Of course, having sex before sleeping was a motovator- so i dont know if that helps in a Mancamp..... lol

Snoring or not, sex in a man camp and I’m out. Lol

 

I’d rather go to the Slope or Deadhorse than Williston or worse yet somewhere like Scoby MT right on the Canadian border.


Re man camps for truckers specific it’s a hit or miss on the outfit and the actual work. Best bet it to sign on with Halliburton or a similar service company that’s not directly tied to drilling ops.

getting a gig with a drilling contractor running supplies to their rigs isn’t a bad gig and it’s usually a scheduled run every week or biweekly.

overall the way the man camp thing works is the harder it becomes for anyone to source hands the more apt they are to just turn out facilities.

 

I looked into this a few years ago and was told housing would be in the truck......which was an old beat up Pete 379 with the smallest possible sleeper.
