How China builds ultra-modern houses from scratch inside massive factory

always find it intriguing. China truth or tail portrays an image of itself as cutting edge. But you have workers working off the floor, old school cut off wheel, hand held welding mask or none, no ear or eye protection etc. At 1.38min ol mate with no PPE besides gloves, grinder with no guard snaps the wheel off his grinder. And painting steel like that with a roller sure will get the microns on evenly. For a pre fab it looks like everything is still measured and cut individually rather that mass cut to make 10 in a row process. And I'd be a little concerned about the water proofing in the shower. But then you have rail and motorways in the air going through buildings, no easy feat and it would take my country 50 years to pull that off. But then to finish with 3 slaves pulling tourist up a stream wtf?. Its real ying and yang type of place for starting off on how prefab houses are made.

Still pre fab has its place. Easier staffing, better quality control, no weather hold ups, faster construction and can provide instant options for people of less need....or should I say want. Conventional neighbor hoods are just larger housing in a row scale. A pre fab neighbor hood may look a bit like a trailer park, but achieves the same outcome for far less money and space.
