we struggle to find consistent transportation from Lockbourne Ohio to Pennsauken Nj (we go twice a week)
I have some local stuff, small amount of yard moves and an occasional large order we deliver with our own straight trucks.
Ideally, I would like to rent a 40 foot swing door liftgate to use on local deliveries as well as go to Pennsauken twice a week. I have thought about a power only guy, hiring a cdl class a guy or trying to lease on owner operator.
    appreciate your thoughts and advice.

You probably struggle because it delivers to the northeast and nobody wants to go there. Not trying to be a smart ###, but most of the folks who live there run there or close by. At least from what I've seen on here for the last 10 years.

Another big reason is that the run is basically the whole PA turnpike. Your run has a lot of costs and headaches for OTR drivers, like getting back out of there. I'd say you'd really have to pay to get this done by someone decent.

Hire a guy as an employee to run equipment you control/ if you already have trucks and employees its not a big deal to add one more.
