How do you get your profile to say road train member?

Wow. Didn't know custom titles was a thing.

Now that you mention it, I've been on here for 11 years (1/4 of my life) and I'm the muppet that petioned the owner of this forum to give us our own LTL folder.

I think call signs should be given by your peers. Any thoughts?

was new to the forums and chastising a noobie rather harshly, because I actually am a " crusty curmudgeon" and was labeled as such.

True story.

I am from Germany and when my teamates found out they said "you must be a David Hasselhoff fan!"

Then memories of him at the Berlin Wall along with countless episodes of Bay Watch came up. And I was like "what's it to you,? Don't hassle the Hoff!"

Before I knew it I was in country slow rolling down MSR Tampa in Iraq with my radio chirping "attention on the net, this is the Hoff, got two foot mobiles on the left side of the MSR (main supply route) and they look shady AF ....how copy"

Then this super cute Army gun truck chick asked me about my call sign when we stopped at Fallujah.

I blushed and told her it's a long story.

 

Thats preety cool !See that there's exactly what I'am talking about how your peers dub ya with your name .. you don't get no say so..I bet half the people I know .. are never called by their God given name.. me being one of them myself..
