Wait until it's two feet of snow on the ground and turned to ice that pretty much takes away your windshield and you still have 250 miles to go until the Cabbage west bound via the intermountain west before you can count on at least a place to stop a while.
At 15 mph that 250 miles will take all your 11 hours and then some into a storm that will get worse. That is a special kind of battle mostly to avoid getting stuck. Some of us thrive on that problem. The harder it goes the more we motivate to keep trucking. But we are not boneheads. When it starts to slip too much, it's possibly you are done for the day when they close the interstate in your face leaving you to sit and stew for days waiting to see it reopen.
Waiting is never something I like. It's hard to wait. Sometimes its three days wait at the meat plant. Ugh.Lepton1, Rusty Trawler and Mark_2wain Thank this. -

If you love the song that just come on the radio but for no reason didn't keep up with the lyrics then the job was done right. After driving I was just very mentally drained because of what you are constantly processing.
