Hello, I am very interested in getting into the brokerage business and I have emailed many freight transportation businesses asking if they offer freight broker training . Many have not answered and some just said they do not offer training. However, one in particular called me today by the name "Brooke transportation training solutions" I was glad that they called and they spoke to me what their classes offer, etc. The training is 5 days and includes real world training such as making real calls to shippers and the cost would be around $2395.

Now, I would like opinions about these people and whether their training program is recommended or is there a better way to get brokerage training?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

    Thank you!

What is your short and long term plan? Are you wanting to attend freight broker training and then open your own brokerage? Where are you located? Are there no established brokerages in your area hiring that you can learn the business from?

What happens if you throw down $2400 for this and realize you don't want to be a soulless shell of a man like the rest of us?

I am not trying to dissuade you from going to Brooke, I have no experience with them, I just think there may be other options.
