How Long For New Endorsements To Show in National Database?

    Does anyone how long it takes for a drivers newly acuired endorsements to show on the national database after it passes through the State?

    So you get the endorsement and they send a new license in the mail showing your endorsements. Thats it. Task accomplished. If not i would probably want to know this as well.

    Well, according to my boss, some companies do dmv checks with the federal government. When a driver gets a new endorsment, it clears with the state then gets updated into a federal data base. My licensed cleared through the state on Monday and I found out today it was uploaded to the federal database

    having the endorsements on your license isn't good enough?????

    we need a fed database?

    No it's not good enough when it comes to company policy. I asked my boss what database do hr uses and he didn't know. Hr is in another state.

    Well it seems to be another money making venture, seeing that all states are linked within the country, and with the MVR system that is already in place, a national database seems to be redundant. I personally don't want a third party (private company) to have access to this information, it seems a little too much of a risk - especially after the rash of system hacks in the retail/banking industry.
