Just recieved my 2 mil safe driving award from my current company on 11/1. Probably had that many before I came here but not safe. My wife runs team with me alot and is getting close to her 2 mil also. Did all this at one of these bottom feeder co.'s that nobody is supposed to be able to make it at. I really think it's mostly luck, the more miles you go the better the chances of something happening.
How many Million Milers do we have?

I criss-crossed more than I can remember over 8 years as an Owner Operator for Morgan DriveAway in the 90's, then ran another 'local run' 350 miles a night for 3 more years while taking flight training.
Now new flying jobs are pretty much nonexistent, so I'm likely to be looking for something in the New Year in a Big Truck.JustSonny Thanks this. -
I guess after 32 years of it, I quit counting.
Fishing is a much better way to spend time and I love those fish....fillets. Beer battered and deep fried in peanut oil.JustSonny, 2fuzy and skyviper73 Thank this. -
Guess I'll chime in here also. 3.5 or so in almost 33 years. One chargeable accident in 1985 (looked left right left, should've looked right again!) and my share of high speed driving awards when 55 was the law of the land. Last ticket was in 1999 in, where else?, but the Buckeye!! And, I'm on my 4th company, been here for 12 yrs.

I said Carter, now I need an onion and mustard sandwich to wash that name off my tongue.ODR Thanks this. -
2.5+ and still counting
All miles run as a single driver, unlike many that count teams mileage
my ### was the only one in the seat.
3 more months and the last 2 trucks will be paid off, making it to 3 Million
isn't looking very promising -
I worked at the Western Star Plant in Kelowna B.C. Canada when that truck was built.Good to know we did a good job on that one. -
I guess I hit a million back around the late '90s, though I've never been all that great about keeping track anyway. No preventables or moving violations. Just the occasional over-axle or equipment ticket, and nothing major at that.
JustSonny Thanks this. -
Congratulations to all the million + milers - very impressive.
We've got a lot of million and two million milers over at Con-way and I've been able to learn a lot from those guys. -
2.2 million miles with no accidents and only 1 ticket in my life.I've been blessed.
