    Very nice. Very quiet inside that cab I guess they insulate the hell out of those new trucks. Detroit motor? The last time I drove a freightliner, it was a 2006 Columbia I belive with a 60 series.

    It's not bad, but the real credit for lack of noise goes to my Blue Parrott B350xt.

    Yes, it's Detroit powered, DD13 and DT12.

    Hm.

    Big setback axle, short hood, is that engine block shoved back into the cab space in the floor maybe?

    You can probably get into places I cannot with a proper sleeper truck, (Not that I wont give it a go...) and bridges must be fun.

    My last one was a late model Ford 9000 and the last of it's kind and was a good truck for the work we did with it. I don't have too many other good day cabs to compare this one to.

    I also suspect that will ride better with the fuel tanks pushed back on the frame closer to the drives. But I am not the designer for that tractor so it's done.
