Did it take to pass the Cdl test?
I have taken the test 3 times and keep pointing out on my parallel. I still go to class everyday and hit it everytime on the pad but as soon ad I go to the test site I choke... I have no intention of giving up as I am really enjoying driving and even doing the backing skills, but Damon its making me crazy that I can't pass... Anyone else have this problem?

    Guess I got lucky.
Only once. And I usually suck at tests.

She did give me another chance at Parallel Parking when I screwed it up the first time.

I would say try to relax see it in your mind, take a few deep breaths and think of this on the pad not a test. Wish u the best.

You get as many tries as you want at the DMV but only 1 at carrier orientation road test.

It happens man. Backing is an ART not a SKILL. They're pretty strict on the test but if you talk to a 20 year veteren they'll probably tell you that it doesn't matter how many pull ups you do or how long it takes you to get it in the spot as long as you didn't hit anything you did a good job. I took my test twice once in SC and once in NE. Failed in south carolina passed in nebraska. Best advise I got and this came from the tester and it was to relax and forget he was even there. I guess I was lucky enough in nebraska to get a tester that was easy going...just wish he wouldn't have docked me 12 points 2 minutes in because i didin't turn into a 200ft long left turn only lane:biggrin_2552:.

If I could do all my testing seperate I'd do fine but here in Indiana we have to do all (pre trip, air brake check, skills and road) all at once.. I passed all my school evals first time no problem. Heck I don't get any points till my parallel,I'm not even worried about the road part of the test I just need to get there..
