Ok, just looked at Knights web page, and they do offer daily pay, but the OP, stated checks at $800, which would mean more than a dollar a mile, their sliding pay scale doesn't even reach .40 CPM, so! I'm still calling BS

I have no idea how some driver's take home pay is so high. I've GROSSED $77,000 so far this year (2 more checks will put me well over 80k) and I rarely NET $1000/week after taxes and deductions. I am single and have free health insurance, but I do drop 15% in a 401(k). It seems like I'm the only one paying taxes (joke) OR some guys are REALLY going to pay Uncle Sam at tax time.

He's getting per diem and I'll say this much that per diem is going to screw him when he goes to try to get financing because when they look at his gross income is going to be a lot lower and that's what creditors go by not net income

Gucci25, does Knight offer some sort of matching 401K? If they do, I would get in that. 401K's are tax deferred. Saving would be a great habit to get into when you are 22.

OK, that explains it then. I've always been off a per diem and taken it at the end of the year. Because how I got confused, is how it shows for a bank loan, unemployment and SSI/SDI. It's lowering your gross so they pay less in taxes, and when you go to get a loan, it's based off the false gross, not your true gross.

True but im not really a borrower. im a cash only guy
Also its not bs lol you can clearly see my pay in all the videos and as i stated its basic math. 2800 miles x .38 = $1068 gross. How much taxes is taken out is on a person by person base.
