Curious how much ya all spend on your truck and what year, miles you were willing to go with? I’m looking for 50k under 350,000 miles and 2010 or newer however pretty slim pickings.
How much was is your truck?

I'm not even in your ballpark. 2007, pre-DPF. 856k, $15,500. Not the prettiest girl on the block, but a good worker.

I actually wanted an even older truck! I want to be in charge, with a wrench in my hand, as opposed to a computer telling me and the truck what to do.
The 2010 model you're quoting is dead center of the worst emissions issues. You either want to get a newer truck, or an older truck. Basically stay away from 2008 to 2015. Those were the really bad DPF "growing pain" years. -
My first truck was $12,000, second truck $17,000 and third truck was $75,000.
First two trucks I ran intrastate though and when I went interstate had to upgrade more. Had 325k and was 3 yrs old.
Had many more since and finally was able to start buying new ones. It’s so much easier now to be honest but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get there.Casimir66, TheLoadOut, God prefers Diesels and 6 others Thank this. -
