how to find 58 injectors

    i have a 01 pete 6nz 550/1850 with a fuel temp wire. its time for new injectors, im looking to do 650/700 RWHP. i hear alot about 58 injectors, can i buy these from cat witout getting thrown in jail, if so is there a part# how much should i be looking to spend, i run california some i want somthing that dont smoke like a freight train, some smoke is ok iv neverbeen smog checked and i dont want to start now:biggrin_255: any thoughts????

    Nothing secret about the "58" injectors....they are reman part number 10R-0958. You probably have the 10R-0957 now so it would be about 100 hp. or so. Check with your local parts guy about turning in the 57 cores when you buy the 58's. My local place said no problem....same core group.

    10R0959 are bigger yet thats a reman # 211-3027 is new stock good to 1000 hp with trim codes adjusted
    Camshaft # 130 - 9710 and these will put you over 800 hp if radiator and air charge cooler will handle it and run 900's on pyro nice set-up

    Don't use the 59 unless you want a lot of smoke

    How much is alot of smoke Mr. Haney? Like good black smoke till the turbo spins up or smoke like a 2 stroke detroit?

    think an old 2 stroke detroit that your lugginh like a new cat.

    enough to smoke out intersections with ease
