    Hello,
Ive been driving for about a year now and was wondering how I can see how many miles ive driven total? Is asking my company the only way? Im applying for jobs in a different location because im moving. Also, how does a company "verify" the exact length of driving experience you have?

    Thanks,

Keep your log books and add up total MI. then div. $ and you can find your real cents per MI. that you are paid.

companies dont need or want to know if you drove 126258 miles or 115829 miles in your first year
they want to know you drove OTR and did more then a few hundred /week

you must know an avg of how much you have drove

Easy way figure average of about 2500 per week, that will be close enough for what they want.

I'm a little anal. I actually have daily journals that go back to 1982. They show every load, load numbers, point of dispatch, load, fuel stops, unload locations, truck and trailer numbers, mileage.you name it it's there.

I won't say but it might be possible right my logbooks may not match the journal. One is legal, the other is accurate. The two in the early days just did meet.now they match exactly.

Always a good idea to keep a log of every load and the paid mileage with the date...add it up throughout the year. Helps to match up against your pay stubs as well. Will also give you an accurate average of what you run per week.
