    Are they taught not to slide the tandems up...?

    I always thought if you hit a fire hydrant you would get a fountain?? But I guess not...

    Apparently that only happens in the movies.
    I was told the valves are 2-3 feet underground for the hydrant.

    Yes the actual valve is under ground depending on how far down the winter frost level goes. In warmer climates it may be directly at the base.

    Would have helped if he had of taken the turn wider, he had more space than he used.
